Michael A. Mancusi-Ungaro, associate Michael joined Opus Search Partners as an Associate in 2007. His work focuses on searches for senior leadership positions in prominent higher education institutions and academic medical centers. His experience includes working for Columbia University, Harvard University, The University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Huron Consulting Group, Nevada Cancer Institute and many others. Functional areas in the search engagements Michael has supported include cancer informatics, investment management, facilities management, and senior administrative positions. Prior to Joining Opus, Michael was a summer intern at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics' Transplant Department. He spent his time working in the Solid Organ Transplant Clinic, The Cardio-Pulmonary Transplant Department and The Organ Procurement Organization. There, Michael managed the department's database as well as audited departmental records. At the Organ Procurement Organization, Michael assisted with logistics and project management to help increase the number of registered organ donors within the state of Wisconsin. During the summer of 2005, Michael interned here at Opus where his duties were primarily research oriented. Michael is a 2007 graduate of The George Washington University where he received his Bachelors of Arts in History. A four year NCAA Division I Rower, Captain and MVP of The George Washington University's Men's Rowing Program, Michael continues his rowing career as an elite lightweight rower for The Undine Barge Club of Philadelphia, training to one day make the US National Rowing Team. |
