Katie Dean, senior
vice president Katie Dean is a Senior Vice President with Opus Search Partners, Inc. Her search work encompasses a variety of senior-level roles with education, healthcare, and not-for-profit clients including Harvard University, Yale University, Cornell University, Columbia University, Rice University, Children’s Hospital Boston, Partners HealthCare, Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Washington, and Arizona State University. In addition, she has managed leadership searches for The National Constitution Center and The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to joining Opus, Katie spent five years with Diversified Search Companies as Vice President and Senior Associate. During her tenure at Diversified, she completed a wide array of searches for leadership positions within universities, liberal arts colleges, independent schools, and arts and cultural organizations. She also worked extensively with private-sector clients in business development and information technology positions. Previously, Katie spent 10 years in various clinical and supervisory roles within the social service and mental health community providing family counseling services as well as individual and group therapy. Her research focused on child and family assessment and treatment. Katie has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Villanova University and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a longtime resident of Philadelphia and active in various community affairs and organizations. |
